Biography:
George C. Kirschbaum, of Yorktown Heights, passed away on March 15, 2024. He was 80 years old. Born in Yonkers, to the late Martin and Margaret Lockwood Kirschbaum on July 23, 1943. Beloved husband of Carol Gurreri to whom he was married 59 years. Loving father of Timothy Kirschbaum and Annie (J.R.) Lombardo. Adored grandfather of Caity (Jarod) Korn, Nicole (Mickey) Annett, Christopher Kirschbaum, Ashley Lombardo and Katie Lombardo. Great grandfather of Mickey, Declan and Isla. Mr. Kirschbaum was pre deceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. He was affectionately known as “Dad, Papa George and Uncle George.” He was an avid coin collector whose true passion was spending time with his family and friends. He was greatly loved by all and will be forever missed. Arrangements entrusted to FLOWER FUNERAL HOME INC., 714 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers with a memorial service to be held on Monday March 25, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm. An inurnment will take place Tuesday morning at 11:00 am at St. Mary`s Cemetery. www.FlowerFH.com
